Per-Agent Token Meter
Spend per agent per month against a budget cap, and what moving deferrable work to batch would save.
What it is
Gemini's CEO notes say: before trading compute, meter it. Track tokens per agent and per task, set budgets, and move work that can wait into cheaper batch or off-peak runs. This page is that meter, filled with example usage for the five fleet agents.
Edit any row. The page shows each agent's monthly spend, who is closest to their cap, and what moving deferrable work to batch would save.
Claimed or assumed, not verified
- "Provider off-peak discounts". Several providers sell a discounted batch tier with slower turnaround; plain time-of-day discounts are less common. Check each provider before relying on one.
- Every usage number and price on this page is an example, not fleet data. The meter becomes real only when each agent's API calls go through one logging proxy.
What to try
- Raise Antigravity's tasks per day to 400. It crosses its cap first.
- Set the batch discount to 0. Savings drop to zero, so the meter on its own is the real value: it shows who spends what.
- Raise "Can wait" for Muse to 80%. Site builds and nightly reports are the easiest work to batch.
- First real step: put the AgySecretVault proxy in front of every API key and have it write one usage line per call. That one change feeds this meter, Mira and Understudy.
