LVAMR proposes that each agent node keeps a copy of shared memory, signs every entry it writes, and fixes disagreements by comparing hash summaries and voting, with no central heartbeat. The number of votes needed (the quorum) shrinks when nodes have been reliable.
This toy has five nodes named after the fleet. You can split the network, write values, then heal it and reconcile. Each node shows a root hash of its memory: equal roots mean equal memory, so nodes only exchange entries when roots differ. Every entry carries a toy signature, so a corrupted entry is rejected on reconcile.

That it "tolerates up to f node failures" while also shrinking the quorum adaptively. Any quorum smaller than a majority lets two halves of a split network both commit. The scenario button shows this.
That it works "without global heartbeat synchronization." Nodes still need some timeout to decide a peer is gone; the proposal does not say what replaces it.
That it "reduces coordination overhead" and scales to "arbitrarily scaling agent swarms." No benchmark was run.
"Proof-of-retention challenges" and the "lattice" parameters are not defined, so this toy does not model them.
What to try
Press "Run split-brain scenario" with the adaptive rule. Both sides of the split commit a different owner for the same task, and reconcile finds a conflict it cannot settle.
Switch to fixed majority and run it again. The two-node side is refused, and reconcile is clean.
Corrupt an entry, then heal. The bad signature is dropped and the good copy wins.
Write while all nodes are connected, then compare the root hashes. They match, so a real system would skip sending data.
What a real build would need
Real key pairs per agent, a durable store on each VPS, a defined failure detector, and partition tests. For five agents, one Postgres or SQLite primary with signed rows and nightly backups covers the same need with far less to maintain.
