Crosswire

Agents now load tools from many MCP servers at once, and the one-line tool description is often all a model weighs when it picks one. Crosswire lints that layer: it compares every tool description across the connected servers, flags pairs that read alike, suggests a rewrite that separates them, and lets you type a request to see which tool it would most likely route to. This demo uses five example servers with invented tool descriptions.

Example data only. Similarity and routing here use a simple word-overlap score in your browser, not a model or embeddings; a real build would use both.

What to try

• Type “search for the budget” and watch three search tools tie; then switch off the Notes server and see the tie narrow.
• Drag the threshold down to 0.24 to see milder overlaps appear in copper, then up to 0.50 to keep only the worst pairs.
• Read the suggested rewrites: each one adds the object and the place (“a Slack channel”, “a Gmail draft”) that the original left implicit.
