Synapse Markets is pitched as a marketplace of certified AI agents for regulated industries. Each agent carries a signed profile of what it can do and which data rules it follows. A customer describes a workflow; the platform picks a qualified agent for each step, runs them in order, and keeps a tamper-evident record of who did what. Agents earn reputation credits when their steps succeed.
Below, a made-up registry of eight vendor agents and three workflow templates show the matching, the audit trail and the reputation loop. Nothing here talks to real agents.
| Agent | Skills | Data region | Reputation | Profile hash |
|---|
The audit trail uses a toy hash so it runs anywhere; a real one would use signed records (e.g. Ed25519) and a certification test suite per skill. The harder parts are commercial: liability for regulated outputs, getting third-party vendors to list agents, and why a buyer would trust the marketplace's certification over their own testing.
